Puri
What is Puri?
Puri is a deep-fried bread made from unleavened whole-wheat flour that originated in the Indian subcontinent. It is eaten for breakfast or a light meal. It is usually served with a savoury curry bhaji but may also be eaten with sweet dishes.
Ingredient
250g whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon salt
Water as needed
Oil for frying
Recipe
- Take a big bowl.
- Pour in wheat flour, add butter and salt, and mix well.
- Then after kneading, help with water covered with a lid and rest for 15 minutes.
- Take a fry pan and pour in oil.
- Now our dough is ready, we divide it into small pieces.
- Now roll it into a curly shave.
- When the oil is hot, put the puri in the pan and fry it.
