What is kheer?

Kheer is a sweet dish and a type of wet pudding popular in the Indian subcontinent, usually made by boiling milk, sugar, or jaggery, and rice , although rice may be substituted with one of the following: pulses, bulgur wheat, millet, tapioca, vermicelli or sweet corn.



Ingredients

1 kg of creamed milk

200g rice

1 pound of sugar

5 cashew

4-5 almonds

½ cup raisin

½ cup pistachio soft

Recipe

  • Take a sauce pan and pour milk into it. Boil.
  • When milk is boiled now, pour rice into it.
  • Stir it with the help of a spoon.
  • After 15-20 minutes, it will become thick. Then set the flame to low.
  • Now add sugar, cashew, raisin, and pistachio and mix well.
  • Now flam off, our kheer is ready.
  • Take a bowl, pour in kheer, and garnish it with almonds.
