Paneer
What is Butter Paneer?
Paneer makhani (also called paneer butter
masala) is a slightly sweet Indian dish of paneer, originating
in New Delhi, in which the gravy is prepared usually with butter (makhan),
tomatoes and cashews. Spices such as red chili powder and gram masala are
also used to prepare this gravy.
A survey found that paneer butter masala was one of the top five
foods ordered in India.
Ingredients:-

400gm Paneer
· 2 tomato medium size
·
2 onion medium size
·
2-3 green chilly
·
2-3 red chilly
·
Ginger
·
Garlic
·
100gm cashew
·
100gm butter
·
Oil 2-3 table spoon
·
½ Tbsp turmeric
·
2-3 bay leaves
·
Some black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, green cardamon, cumin, asafoetida,
coriander seeds
·
4 Tbsp curd
·
1 spoon fresh cream
·
Dried Fenugreek
Recipe:-
·
Cut the onion two parts first one in big pieces and another one
in finely chopped
·
Cut the tomatoes in big pieces
·
Cut chillies in two halves
·
Chop garlic and ginger
·
Take a pan and pour oil and butter in it
·
Now add some bay leaves, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, green
cardamon, cumin, asafoetida, coriander seeds and sauté it
·
Now onion, ginger, garlic, green chilly, red chilly, tomato and
cashew and sauté it well
·
Now give it rest for 5 minutes
·
Now pour it into a grinder and grind it well
·
Now stir it well
·
Now cut our paneer into small cubes
·
Now take another pan pour some oil and butter in it
·
Now add chopped onion in it and sauté it well
·
Now add our puree and curd
·
Now sauté it well
·
Add 2 cups of water
·
Now add our Paneer and low the flame for 8-10 minutes
·
Now garnish it with fresh cream, butter and dried fenugreek
Now
enjoy it with chapati, naan, rice etc
