What is kachori ?

Kachori is a spicy deep-fried snack , originating in the Indian subcontinent and common in places with an Indian diaspora and other South Asian diaspora . Alternative names for the snack include kachauri, kachodi, and katchuri.

Ingredients

100 gm (soaked) green gramme pulses

500 g refined flour

1 tablespoon gramme flour

1 tablespoon cumin seeds

1 tablespoon funnel

1 teaspoon asafoetida

1 tablespoon oregano

1 tablespoon coriander powder

1 tablespoon mango powder

1 teaspoon red chilli powder

½ tbsp. turmeric

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 tablespoon dried fenugreek

1 tablespoon gramme masala

Salt

Oil

Recipe

  • Grind the lentils coarsely.
  • Now take a bowl and pour in refined flour, salt, baking powder, oregano, boiled water, and now knead our dough. After that, let it rest.
  • Now take a pan. Now pour asafoetida, cumin seeds, gram flour, lentils, and fry them. After that, pour turmeric, red chilli, mango powder, funnel, dried fenugreek, gram masala, and coriander powder. Now let it also be for rest.
  • Now divide our dough into small pieces.
  • Now roll it into a circle after it fills our stuffing here and close it.
  • Now fry it and eat it
