What is laddu?
Laddu, or laddoo, is a spherical sweet originating from India and spread throughout the Indian subcontinent and the Malay world. Laddus are primarily made from flour, fat, and sugar or jaggery. Laddus are often made of gramme flour but can also be made with semolina.
Ingredients
300g of flour
Clarified butter
1 pound sugar powder
Recipe
- Take a pan, pour in clarified butter, 2 tbsp, then add gramme flour and roast it on a low flame.
- After a while, add 2 tbsp again and roast it for 8-10 minutes on a low flame.
- Now transfer it into a bowl and add sugar, then stir it well.
- After 4-5 minutes, make a small ball.
