Aloo paratha
What is aloo paratha?
Aloo paratha is a bread dish originating from the Punjab region of South Asia. It is a breakfast dish that is popular in the Indian subcontinent. The recipe is one of the most popular breakfast dishes throughout the western, central, and northern regions of India as well as the eastern regions of Pakistan.
Ingredients
500g patato
300g whole wheat flour
1 onion
2 green chilies
Garlic
Coriander leaves
1 tablespoon red chilli
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon mango powder
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp funnel
Salt to taste.
Oil
Water
Recipe
- Take a pressure cooker and pour some potatoes for 2-3 whistles.
- Take a bowl, pour in wheat flour, salt, and oregano, mix well, and knead it with the help of water.
- Now cut the onion, garlic, green chilli and green coriander leaves.
- When potatoes are cold, then mash them well.
- Now all the spices and onion, garlic, green chilli, and coriander leaves are mixed well in the mashed potato.
- Now our dough is ready, we divide it into small pieces.
- Fill it with stuffing after rolling it in a circle.
- Our pan is heated, so our paratha is here.
- Both sides are heated. Now spread oil.
- Now our paratha is ready to eat with yoghurt, chutney, and sauce.
