What is palak panner?

Palak panner is a vegetarian dish consisting of paneer in a thick paste made from pureed spinach called palak in Hindi.

Ingredients

Panner (250g)

Spinach(500g)

Butter(100 g)

Cream(50g)

Grain masala (1 table spoon)

Onion (2)

Garlic-ginger paste

Tomato (2 big sizes)

(2) hot peppers

Cumin (half a tablespoon)

Fenugreek leaves (25g)

Red chilli powder (1/2 tbsp)

1 tsp asafoetida

Salt (according to taste)

Recipe

First, we'll boil our spinach in ice cold water, which helps in retaining the colour of the spinach. After that, we immersed our spinach in ice cold water, which helps in retaining the colour of the spinach. While our spinach is waiting for us to make the curry. For making curry, we need butter, onion, garlic, ginger paste, tomato, chilli pepper, cumin, red chilli powder, asafoetida, and salt. Then we'll put our onions in the grinder. Then we'll put our tomatoes in the grinder. For curry, first of all, we put butter on the pan. Then add some cumin and asafoetida. Then pour in some garlic-ginger paste, onion paste, and tomato puree. Fry it well. Then add the chilli peppers and other spices. While some of our time is left while boiling spinach, we cut our paneer into small cubes. Our spinach has been boiled, so first we strain the water from it. Then we add our spinach and paneer to the curry. Then stir it well. Then boil our curry for 5 minutes. Then garnish the curry with cream and fenugreek leaves.
